Shoulders

Sorta revived. Got more movement in shoulders, and I intend not to visit a doctor anymore. Mr. Doctor is busy retiring (for over 3 years by now) and has no one to take his place, so he's still retiring, and yet not retired. It means his diagnoses are correct, his will to treat and/or give prognoses are off. Very off. As in he doesn't actually care about it anymore.
Quite a shame, though I'm glad there's still a doctor there. When I figured that out, you don't want to know about the drama-llama's in that hospital >.> bunch o mad nurses... Talking behind people's backs about each other, patients (I know because my name fell from time to time and I confronted the ladies with it. Result: red heads ala tomatoes.) and more of that crazy crap.

So if anyone wants to know why the prognoses are incorrect, here's one other thing:
I have BWS. Not that you care, and neither should I for it's no longer visible (but still there) yet doctors claimed that I couldn't do what I can do now. Their prognosis was off, and as a matter of fact, I should have died when I was 8, 12, 15, 18 and so on… so I'm still alive and kicking. And all their diagnoses were off. Completely off. Please do forgive me that I don't always believe prognoses. My body tells me what's okay and what's not. Not the doctor.

Oh well, like I said, I'm still glad there's a doctor.

Pre-convention jitteritis + HvA first week

On to pre-convention jitteritis and HvA first week. That would be next week. It mainly consists about drinking, having fun with booze only and more booze. So that time will be better spend than getting drunk on a daily base.

Pre-convention jitteritis has struck again. Gave my willing slave a day off, but tomorrow she'll be working her pretty little butt off again, as I take my well deserved rest and lots and lots of tea ^^ _{okay, I'll admit, I do small handiwork, and most consists of handiwork these days}

About corsets and kokoshniks

Hopefully I have a few tutorials coming up, about making corsets (that is so easy. I don't know why folks keep on nagging it's so hard) and how to make a kokoshnik - crown style.
I still hope to find out how the Kokoshnik was named. One says it was standard Russian headgear (if veiled the lady was married, if not she was unmarried) and that the name is derrived from the Russian word for Hen. Others claim it was meant a vacation sort of headgear (right >.< ) and some others claim it was only worn at Carnivals.

That I see everyone again, whom I care for. Whom I love to bits. Yes, even you guys.

I want to see you guys and galls again, talk to you and hear your warm laughter.

Baking day

Next Thursday = baking day!
Got to spoil a lot of people with yummies and celebrate several (belated) B-days.

What will it be this time? Brownies, or chocolate cake? Or muffins?
