The 6 things

Wow… this is a sort of psychological test, at least when filled out with answers straight from the heart. So, here’s my insight, in my soul and my psychological state of mind. At least I hope I’m not labelled a serial killer deep down inside _{*hides gun behind back}

6 things I hate the most:
1. Arrogance (wow… this is pretty much number one with everyone) _{I just hope I’m not and if I am, mail me/note me, so I can adjust the matter, okay.} Mostly from people who can’t listen to feedback.
2. People who “fire before they ask”. People: with the internet, we lack about 90% of other forms of communication. Such as: body language, expressions, emotions, voice, intonation, tone of voice and how we say things. ASK(!) before fire. We’re not in the bloody army for crying out loud >.< (I truly hate that part of these people. Don’t get me wrong. It’s like a hated teacher of mine once said: “you hate that part of that person. Not the entire person. Just that little piece and nothing more.” What doesn’t stop me from disliking her.
3. People who believe they are better than everyone else. Come on folks… we’re all unique, so in that matter, we’re all the same for being unique. That unique-ness of us all, makes us equals >.< BTW: does anyone still gets my ranting?
4. Don’t get me wrong, but never ever smack me on the head again. That A) hurts and B) is very uncomfortable because I am allergic to paracetamol (what used to be my best and first choice of pain med, but I have had symptoms of allergy before, so the third time will be a lethal shock according to my GP) and Ibuprofen 200 does hardly anything for me, so I have to take Ibuprofen 400, but that will knock me out within half an hour. Now who wants to carry me around or function as my pillow for the rest of the day?
5. Little boys screaming harder and louder when they’re inoculated than little girls. Come one, are you guys supposed to be the greatest heroes of all time, stronger than girls and knights in shining armour? However, since I adore guys when grown up, for their behaviour, speech, way of thinking and how they react, you’re all forgiven
6. To accept the fact that I'm not that strong anymore, as I used to be. Because of that stupid low Hb levels and low blood pressure, I'm weak. Sometimes my own bags are too heavy for me and my friends need to carry 'm around for me. Though I admire them for the fact they are willing to help me out, and that I'm glad they help me out, I feel embarrassed for that. It's a bloody shame that a full grown adult woman can't even carry her own bags *goes in the corner hiding in shame, crying*

6 random facts about me:
1. I love fantasy books, films and dragons. Okay, dragons are fantasy, but who cares.
2. I’m getting rid of the “Den Helder fenomena” as some tourist described it. “Check my this, check my that, check my past and check my whatever”. That’s how people of Den Helder are often described and that is not a good thing. I’m glad my mommy came from The Hague, where people sort of, not all, have common sense. To my friends and other people who have had to put up with that crazy-ass silly stupid behaviour of mine: I’m most terribly sorry and I hope you forgive me for this *goes into corner out of shame*
3. I’m not Cissnei. I’m Astrid. Quit calling me Cissnei, please! *cries in desperation* I like to be me instead of someone else *squeaks*… _{though cosplay is very fun to do, I try to be me and I would appreciate it very much if you see me as me and not Cissnei. Though there are two persona who may say that From these two ladies, I accept pretty much anything}
4. What do you mean with me being strong? I am insecure. Very insecure. I think about a thousand ways to avoid telling someone that I don’t like this or that about that person’s behaviour, but when I have to face that fact, I don’t know how to tell that person what I wish to say.
5. I’m not a gamer, I lack consoles, I understand shit about it and I admire my friends who know how to game and understand everything about it, but FF7 and it’s spin-offs are games/movies/cutscenes that ROCK!
6. I like to shower my friends with attention, love and friendship, to make ‘m feel wanted, safe and secure. Spread the love people, this world lacks it.

6 things I cannot or will not do:
1. I will never ever go in a theme park attraction fancy fair thing with huge height again. Unless I may squeeze your arm to death and put you up with my fear of height. No one around who wants to play my knight in shining armour? No? Guess what, I won’t join you in that monstrosity in that case
2. Draw things, people or objects and claim I can actually make a good drawing. Look at ~Kilth ~MacabrePinkKiller or ~Blastebird or ~Zexynia They CAN draw things/people. I simply can’t.
3. Say I’m a good writer/fanfiction author. I am not. I write for fun – mine and yours, I hope – and nothing else.
4. Stitch people up. That’s… scary. I leave that up to the GP, okay?
5. Dance. I can try to do a little belly dancing, but I will never do the foxtrot or waltz or DDR. No feeling for rhythm whatsoever and no eye-foot coordination.
6. (and one thing I will and cannot do ever again) Admit that I like a guy. Do so and they go spazz all over. I don’t want a relationship, I just say I like you for crying out loud. *squeaks in corner* Like is something else than love.

4. and pretty much “I love you” to all the people I consider friend (yes… I’m such an idiot who… I already told you that…

Mexican Flu inoculation was terrible. Over 7000 patients showed up at the surgery and received their first part of the inoculation. That means that each person is for about 40% inoculated. The second vaccination gives another 30% inoculation. That leaves a 30% chance of still getting the Mexican Flu.

It's not only preparing the syringes (one needle... just one! that has become a blunt needle after sucking up the fluids with that syringe. that's painful!) but also the administration: for every patient that has shown up to tell when the second inoculation takes place, to write it down in their files, to give information about the flu, to sort out who wants it and who doesn't, giving information about who gets inoculated and who doesn't... it's a little harder than people say it is.

Yet thanks to that inoculation campaign, my wrists hurt like hell. Oh well, for the sake of Holland, I have to make a sacrifice or two, right? *being overly dramatic *

For all those out there with flu-ish symptoms and high fever: it's the mexican flu >.< That's what distinguishes it from the normal flu. the high fever.

I stayed from Friday to Sunday at her place, for her dress and to see her town. It's a lovely town, though I'm a tourist and she knows her town by heart, so she knows pretty much the ins and outs.

I once claimed to hate Starbucks coffee. Now I don't hate it anymore. They support a better world, fair trade and helluva good cup of coffee. That fair trade and better world makes the cup of coffee taste a lot better
